The IWF and the Fenner School of Environment & Society are seeking an exceptional early- or mid-career academic with expertise in hydrological modelling, to provide leadership in research and teaching in the area of spatial water resources observation, assimilation and hydrological system modelling and forecasting. The successful applicant will be instrumental in enabling inter-disciplinary collaborative teaching and research in hydrology and related areas, and developing the spatial modelling and data assimilation approaches to provide detailed understanding of water resources systems, real-time monitoring, and short-term to seasonal forecasting of water availability and use. Our ideal candidate will combine outstanding technical skills with enthusiasm to work as an active member of an interdisciplinary team and make an active contribution to IWF directions and goals.
