The IWF and the Fenner School of Environment & Society are seeking an outstanding advanced early- or mid-career academic with expertise in qualitative social research, futures thinking and/or scenario development; a good track record of interdisciplinarity in natural resource management areas; and ability to work collaboratively within and beyond academia. The successful applicant will be excited to join a dynamic, interdisciplinary and engaged team from across the ANU. We are seeking someone with a passion for research and teaching, understanding and developing relationships between research, policy and practice, and keen to establish a clear research agenda that is compatible with IWF directions and goals.  Our ideal candidate will have the confidence and ability to help establish the social sciences components of the IWF, and to make strong connections across the team.
